Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Office Tea ("we", "us", "our") is an anonymous workplace accountability platform at officetea.io. We are operated by Woodes Labs.

2. What we collect

We collect as little data as possible. When you submit a disclosure ("tea"): - The text content you submit (after human review, published anonymously) - An optional source label you provide (e.g. "Fintech Series C") — never your name or company - A randomised order reference number for your submission When you purchase feed access: - Payment is processed entirely by Flutterwave. We never see or store your card details. - We store a session token in your browser's localStorage to remember your 30-day access. This token is not linked to your identity. We do NOT collect: - Your name - Your email address - Your IP address - Device identifiers - Any analytics or tracking cookies

3. How we use your data

Submission content is used solely to: - Review for compliance with our zero-PII policy - Publish anonymously if approved - Detect behavioural patterns across submissions (aggregated, never individual) We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your session access token and a random voting fingerprint. No third-party tracking scripts are loaded. No advertising networks.

5. Third-party services

- Flutterwave: processes card payments. Subject to Flutterwave's own privacy policy. - Vercel: hosts the application. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy. - Anthropic Claude API: used for the optional AI Polish feature. Text submitted to this feature is processed by Anthropic's API and subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not send personally identifiable information to this API. - Solana RPC: used to display the live USDC fund balance. Read-only, no user data transmitted.

6. Data retention

Approved submissions remain published indefinitely unless a takedown request is granted. Pending submissions that are rejected are deleted. We do not retain any other personal data.

7. Your rights

You have the right to: - Request removal of a submission you made (email hello@officetea.io with your order reference) - Request confirmation of what data we hold relating to you - Have your submission deleted Because submissions are anonymous by design, we can only action requests accompanied by the order reference provided at submission time.

8. Children

Office Tea is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted content, contact us immediately.

9. Content takedowns

If you believe a published submission contains information that identifies you or is factually incorrect, email hello@officetea.io with the specific content and your reason for the request. We review all takedown requests within 7 business days.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with a revised date at the top of this page.
