Terms of Service

1. The platform
Office Tea is an anonymous workplace accountability platform. We provide infrastructure for anonymous submissions about workplace conduct. We do not create, verify, or endorse user-submitted content.
2. Who can use Office Tea
You must be at least 18 years old to use Office Tea. By using the platform you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Submissions ("Tea")
By submitting content you confirm that: - You have personal knowledge of the events described - Your submission does not contain the real name of any individual - Your submission does not contain any personally identifiable information (email, phone, address, national ID) - Your submission is not deliberately false or fabricated - You are not submitting on behalf of a competitor or for commercial gain - Your submission does not violate any applicable law Submissions are reviewed by human moderators before publication. We reserve the right to reject, edit for PII removal, or remove any submission at our sole discretion.
4. What we are not
Office Tea is not: - A law firm or legal advisory service - A journalism outlet - A regulator or enforcement body - A verified fact-checking service Content on Office Tea represents the personal accounts of anonymous submitters. We verify that submissions contain no PII — we do not verify the factual accuracy of claims made.
5. Access fee and refunds
Feed access is a one-time payment for a 30-day session. Due to the nature of digital content, we do not offer refunds once access has been granted. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact hello@officetea.io within 24 hours.
6. Layoff Support Fund
20% of every access fee is allocated to the Layoff Support Fund and distributed to verified recipients. Fund distributions are at our sole discretion. The fund is not a charity and contributions are not tax-deductible.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Office Tea to: - Submit content you know to be false - Submit content that identifies specific individuals - Attempt to de-anonymise other users or submitters - Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content - Attack, probe, or attempt to compromise platform security - Submit content on behalf of a third party without their knowledge - Harass, threaten, or target specific individuals
8. Intellectual property
By submitting content you grant Office Tea a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, and aggregate that content on the platform. You retain ownership of your submission.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Office Tea is provided "as is". We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-submitted content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Office Tea and Woodes Labs shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on its content. We are not responsible for any employment, legal, or reputational consequences arising from content published on the platform.
10. Takedowns and disputes
If you believe published content is factually incorrect or identifies you personally, contact hello@officetea.io. We review all requests within 7 business days and will remove content that violates our zero-PII policy or is demonstrably fabricated.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
